Nightpaw slipped through the undergrowth. Finally! I got away! She thought. Rustle rustle. She pricked her ears. WildClan Cat! Nightpaw, having the advantage of surprise, pounced and pinned down the unknown cat.

"Fox-dung!" He spat as he was pressed against the ground, he quickly glanced at his attacker, snarling. "Who are you?" He hissed, trying to flip over ontop.

Kestrelheart glanced around, listening.

"What is it?" Ferretfur asked.

"Nightpaw, you mouse brain! Now, tell me who you are or else I'll give you to Birchstar so he can sort you out!"

Foxpaw hissed, quickly rolling over and crushing the she-cat underneath him. He pinned her down. "Well, Nightpaw, it's been a very nice conversation we've been having, but... I'm flipping the odds. I'm Foxpaw." He meowed, whiskers twitching.

She went limp and lifeless.

Foxpaw grunted. "Ameture..." He mumbled, sheathing his claws and getting off. "I'll let you go without any scratches if you don't tell anyone about...well, me."

Nightpaw didn't move.

Foxpaw pricked his ears, flicking his tail. "You ok...?"

Nightpaw, all of a sudden, brought herself up and threw herself hardly onto Foxpaw, pinning him. "An amateur doesn't know when to pin someone down," She hissed.

Foxpaw grinned, whiskers twitching. "I guess I was wrong, 'amateur'. I still don't know your name."

"And you won't if you keep acting that way," Nightpaw purred, getting off. "Nightpaw at your service, WildClan apprentice."

"I'm Foxpaw, Braveclan apprentice." He meowed, getting up onto his paws.

"Don't call me 'BraveClan apprentice'! I DO have a name!" Nightpaw said.
